"ANNE, THE USURPER"

Top o'the morning me luvs. Had a little bit of time to play around with the black lab whom I'm calling Anne, the Usurper, since she took the throne from Deirdre, just as Anne Boleyn took it from Queen Catherine of Aragon.

I worked mostly on establishing the dark and mid values on her fur, as well as lay a flat wash of a pinkish tone on her tongue and a mere suggestion of the teeth (doesn't even show in the pic). Still lots more to do, but I'll be busy the whole afternoon and early evening. Hopefully I'll be back early enough to cook, so I can paint some more after dinner. Crossing fingers!
