"MISSING YOU ALL SO MUCH"

Hello my darlings, it's been forever since I updated my blog and I miss you all very much. Sorry for disappearing for so long, still no computer. After almost two months waiting for my little brother to fix it, he finally calls me to say there's no fixing it so my only option is to buy a new one. Unfortunately, I'm seriously broke at the moment. I'm dealing with some health issues that have put a tremendous strain on my finances. I'll only be able to get a new computer in a couple of months, maybe more. In the meantime, I'll try to come to the library as much as possible to update my blog and hopefully read yours and comment if I can, since I can only use the computer for 30 minutes a day.

I haven't been up to much really, even if I could post pics of what I've completed since the computer broke, I'd probably not have that many pieces to show. Like I said above, I'm having some health problems and because of it, I'm feeling very tired and depressed. Not being able to be in touch with all my online friends and lacking the energy to paint as much as I wish I could has contributed a lot to the depression I'm going through at the moment.

I'm still working my way through Alyona's book, just a few more projects to finish and I'm almost done with the tutorial on using the Icarus Board. Other than that, I have two pet portraits I finished last week and I'm starting something else tomorrow, hopefully, although I have no idea what to do next. I'm feeling so unmotivated and discouraged, I just want to get better, make the meds work, get a new computer and go back to the full steam I had before all this nightmare started. Oh, well, I should stop being a cry-baby, and just have faith to carry me through this ordeal.

On the good side of my news, I'm proud to announce that my son has graduated two weeks ago with an honor roll under his belt. He's now looking forward to summer camp in August and working on his summer homework for his new school. He has to read two books and write an essay on both. One of the two is one of my favorite books ever - Angela's Ashes by Frank McCourt. Once he finishes reading it, we're going to watch to movie together, I can hardly wait for his thoughts on such an amazing story about coming of age.

Anyways me luvs, time to go, I only have 10 minutes left to check my e-mails and I promise I'll be back as soon as I can.

Much love to you all,
Jade

My thoughts and prayers will be with you on your health and depression. I recently went through health and depression, still not through with it but my doctor put me on cymbalta and it was a pain at first, the medication but the depression is definitely better. Still have some health issues. So sorry about the computer situation, I hope things will change soon and you can get one. Finally, congratulations on that son of yours and his accomplishments! My daughter has four books to read this summer but no essays. Stay strong, many are thinking of you and sharing their strength. :)
